Wonderful tour. Best guide ever! - We had a great afternoon on the lagoon. Its no-engine-boat so it was really quiet, relaxing and close to nature. Lahiru and his dad really took their time to show us the best of the area: various type of birds, mangroves, monitor lizards, bat area, old temple...Lahiru knows a lot and really cares about nature around and it was a pleasure to discuss with him :-). We highly recommend it if you are around Hikkaduwa, it is worth stopping and enjoying a good time with this family. What also made our trip special was that we got to enjoy stunning sunset view on the lagoon. Besides, Lahiru also organized a whale watching boat trip for us in Mirissa. unforgettable - We spent 3 weeks with this wonderful family. We joined Lahiru (the owner) in volunteering projects and helped 2 orphanages as well as the kindergarden of the village. During free times, Lahiru and family organized many activities for us, always the best options. For example a small boat to watch whales or more time in Uda Walawe's park during a safari because he knew how much we love animals. The room was so clean and huge! The calm of the lagoon was soothing with all these luxurious wildlife and flora. Lahiru's dad is considerate and always smiling, as well as his sister. The mother of the family is an amazing person, she took care of us as her own children... Thank you for this unforgettable time, it is sure that we will come back!
Fantastic! - My 2 teenagers and boyfriend have just spent the day with Lahiru and his family on their Lagoon Safari. It was magical. Lahiru's knowledge of the wildlife, his beautifully relaxed and friendly attitude all made for a perfect day out. The 1m wing spanned fruit bats were amazing!! So was the delicious lunch prepared by Lahiru's mother. The swimming was wonderful too. Best day out in Sri Lanka yet! Get away from it all and experience the peace, beauty and nature of true Sri Lanka just an hour away from Colombo. Fantastic! ??
